SiteCrafted Reselling Terms: What Buyers Need to Know Before Reselling Our Readymade Websites
Many digital agencies and freelancers purchase SiteCrafted readymade WordPress websites to deliver fast client projects. This guide explains the official resell terms, usage rights, customization rules, licensing limits, and important restrictions to follow while reselling our products legally and safely.
1
What Does “Reselling” Mean at SiteCrafted?
Know exactly what you are allowed to do as a buyer.
When you purchase any SiteCrafted readymade WordPress website, you are granted the right to:
- Use the website for any number of end-client projects (client-facing customization included).
- Rebrand the design with your own colors, logo, typography, and messaging.
- Customize the template using Elementor, custom CSS, child themes, and CodeSnippets.
- Deliver the website to your clients as your own finished service.
However, this does not mean you can resell the raw SiteCrafted product files as your own original creation. There are important restrictions covered below.
2
What You Are Not Allowed to Do (Important Restrictions)
These rules protect our brand, digital assets, and intellectual property.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Do NOT resell, redistribute, or upload SiteCrafted templates “as-is” without customization.
- Do NOT list our templates on your marketplace or sell them as standalone products.
- Do NOT claim ownership of our original SiteCrafted design system, branding, demo content, or template structure.
- Do NOT share, leak, or distribute .wpress files publicly or inside GPL groups.
- Do NOT use our brand name “SiteCrafted” to sell templates as if they were your own copyrighted creations.
Violating these rules may result in permanent license termination and legal action.

Branding Requirements When Reselling to Clients
A fully rebranded website must be delivered.
If you want to resell a website to your client, you must:
✓
Replace the logo and branding
✓
Change demo images and placeholder text
✓
Update color scheme to match client’s brand
✓
Remove all SiteCrafted-specific references
This ensures that the final delivered product is unique and belongs to your client—not a direct SiteCrafted copy.
4
GPL Licensing: What It Allows and What It Doesn’t
Understand the difference between GPL freedom and SiteCrafted product ownership.
The GPL license allows:
- Unlimited usage of themes and plugins for client projects
- Modifying the code for personal or client purposes
- Using GPL components inside commercial work
However, GPL does not mean you can legally copy or resell SiteCrafted’s premium:
- Template design structure
- Custom child theme
- Custom CSS and layout enhancements
- CodeSnippets and functions
- Brand assets and demo content
These elements are SiteCrafted’s intellectual property.
5
Support & Updates for Resellers
Understand what your purchase includes.
When you resell a SiteCrafted website to your client:
- You remain the primary contact for your client.
- Your purchase includes your own installation/setup support only.
- Your client does not receive direct support from SiteCrafted.
- Paid maintenance plans are available if you need additional help.
You may choose to offer your own support packages to clients.
6

- ₹9,999 – ₹14,999 for basic client websites
- ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 for business websites with hosting included
